The Local Legends Series.

The Peninsula Jaycees honor the outstanding community support and customer service of businesses throughout the Hampton Roads Area. In an effort to reward great service, the "Local Legends Series" has been set into motion. 

The businesses that meet certain criteria and have been nominated by chapter members (for various reasons) are voted on by the chapter. Those businesses will receive a plaque and will forever be featured on this list.

The businesses must:

• Have been in service for at least 25 years.

• Be a local business or for franchises;  must have originated in the Hampton Roads Area.

• Have an outstanding reputation.

The awards will be voted on and distributed to the local businesses bi-annually and will be separated into two categories; Restaurant and Non-Restaurant.
